no. 123: third time today

okay, okay, i know-- overblogging. but i never do this, so bear with me.
this blog is just to say:

OMGOSH OMGOSH OMGOSH OMGOSH:

DeVotchKa IS COMING TO THE 9:30 CLUB IN MAY!!!!!!

My excitement is just barely contained by the fact that I can't buy the tickets right now and I'm worried they're going to sell out. I will take out a hit on people to obtain their tickets if I don't get some in time.

The new album comes out March 18th. I've been listening to How It Ends and Curse Your Little Heart on a loop all day. The new single from A Mad & Faithful Telling, "Transliterator" is, in the words of The Teen Girl Squad, "Soooo gooood". Give it a listen. Can be purchased from Itunes, or if you're a HopKid, jacked from my library on DC ++.
So there's that business.

Here's an abbreviated list of people I miss a lot:

• Rosie (who has said she'll visit me next month!)
• Christopher P. (who never talks to me any more)
• Sarah Di (who I haven't seen or heard from in ages but still has a key to my heart)
• My godfather, Jack (who I'm going to visit next time I go home)
• Jenny (who is still in California)
• Greg G. (who is rocking the married life)
• My great aunt, Judy (who makes the best blackberry roley poley you've ever had)
• Claudsquad (who made my summer)
• Eva Jean (who is possibly crazier than I am, but wears it beautifully)

That's just the short list. Odds are, if I haven't seen you in the last four days, I miss you.

Tonight:
- writing my piece for nonfic
- rewriting some portions of my essay for expos
- watching a film, possibly empire records, possibly with gayle, possibly not.
- painting my nails
- likely haunting carma's

that's about it.
tomorrow: no class, but massive essay editing and working out w/G-money.

I have a massive and disquieting headache. And a massive antsy craving. Blech. But I'm staying strong!
