No. 197: the galley

It's been a mostly rough couple of weeks. With a few highlights of awesome:
 - Mom coming to visit last Friday (I missed her)
 - Getting a stein, finally, at the Renn Fest
 - The curtains I wanted being on sale and MG being around to help me out with 'em.
 - Seeing The White Elephan by Werner Herzog
 - Buying my router on ebay.
 - Seeing Knicky.

Cog Psych test on Wednesday I dont' feel ready for and a redrafting of a paper I wrote for 18th ct. lit due on Friday. Working tonight closing, Thursday closing, and a random 2 1/2 hours on Friday morning. Then dinner with the kids on Friday night (making salmon, I think). Then my weekend starts. And I'm doing nothing. I'm sitting on my couch all weekend reading No Country for Old Men and drinking tea and listening to the 37 albums I downloaded. Sunday, I think I'm going to see Burn After Reading with Andrew, but I have no idea. And I still don't know if I'm ever even going to see Matt again. It's been that kind of week. And it's only Tuesday.
Have Jean's class today. Not super psyched, considering I haven't read any of anyone's pieces, and mine is crap, and I have to go to work immediately after. Blech.

Anway-- here are the songs. I kind of like this set, it's quirky. Next week's are shaping up pretty nicely, too, since I've been listening to some new stuff.

The view from my aparment is really nice. Thank the Lord for the 9th floor horizon.
  1. Satisfy My Soul by Bob Marley
  2. The Nearness of You by Nora Jones
  3. Paperback Writer by The Beatles
  4. It's All Over Now, Baby Blue by Bob Dylan
  5. So Lonely by The Police
  6. Who Could Win a Rabbit by Animal Collective
  7. Notice  by Gomez

Cheers.
H.
