No. 218: motivation

i have never been less motivated to study in my life. my grade is important, and in general, doing well academically has always been something i've strived for. but this final just absolutely does not promote studying. 18th century literature was largely dull the first go-round. reviewing the dull is just frustrating. i do want to do well tomorrow, though, finish strong and what not.

volunteered to work an 8 hour shift at Carma's on saturday, so i'm in Balitmore til saturday night or sunday morning. then it's home to comfiness and mum's cookin'. plus kathryn is home and i'm SO psyched to see her. i think there's a thing in Columbia on saturday too, possibly at larissa's behest, and since she is da proverbial bomb, i'll probably find myself in that area. nick is home, which is nice.

today is carlos's birthday. happy birthday, carlos.

onward with the studying, the soul bruising studying.

-hs.
